Hey ladies, I am new here! I got engaged in June and my wedding is booked for March 28,2009 at Jericho Terrace. Gives us a lot of time to save money! Everyone thinks it is too long to wait but I'm just thinking realistically. How are you all doing?!?

Everyone tells us its a long time to wait too! ....but me and FH even say it haha But this way we have plenty of money to save for the wedding and a downpayment on a house. Dont want to start out life together in too much debt!!!
And congrats on booking a place already!! Im gonna start looking soon!!! Did you see any other places??

Thank you and Congrats to you too! I looked at my Aunt's Country Club in Great Neck but it didn't have the wedding feel I wanted. I've been to weddings at Wesbury Manor and Leonards and loved them both but Jericho Terrace just took my breathe away!

We've actually been talking about cutting down the list because we don't want kids there except for our nephew and my goddaughter who are the ring bearer and flower girl. A big wedding like that is going to be awesome though and a lot of fun!

Yeah we are not inviting kids either, i LOOOVE kids but i also dont think weddings really are the place for them. Plus it will cost alot more extra...Yeah it is alot of fun but stressful at the same time lol. If you need help with anything let me know, like in house vendors or whatever
