I'm new, and I need some opinions :)

Hi Ladies,

My name is Jen, and my FH and I are planning an October wedding. We were supposed to be married in May, but I got sick earlier in the year, and had to postpone it.

So, now, here we are, 4 months away, and I still have not chosen a location. But, we think we have narrowed it down to two venues. The Club at the Metropolitan, or H on the Harbor,. (we are planning on approx. 75 guest) We have visited both, but have not made a decision as of yet. Both of them have the date available, so we are in good shape there.

Any words of wisdom/reviews would be terrific, as I am so confused about both.

Thanks so much in advance, and I look forward to your responses.

Hi, welcome to LIW!!!!!!

I haven't been to either so I can't say but I wanted to help you out. Click on Search and type in the names of the places you're interested in and then choose the Bride's Review board. That should help you find what you're looking for!!

Congrats and welcome! One of the girls on the 08 board is getting married at The Club at the Metropolitan, you might want to post there as well!

Not sure where you're located, but Rosemary at Angel Bridals in East Islip is the most helpful, awesome, lovely women ever. I bet she could get you a dress in 10 minutes flat.

Choose whichever location makes you say wow, wherever you feel more comfortable.

I don't know about H on the Harbor (never heard of it) but I do know that the Metropolitan is a nice locale.
Is it good for pics ?

Take into consideration your travel time from the ceremony site to the RH.

Just a few things off the top of my head.

Good luck with your planning. We are all here to help.
