I am finally just signed up to LI Weddings. After viewing this website over 20 times i really thought it would be helpful to jion and be able to chat with you girls instead of just reading your chats. I am getting married in 10 months and have done the bare minimum. ' I have no clue of where to go for my honeymoon , we want tropical and the only i have looked into was sandals antigua but im so unsure.
also does anyone know of any pre-cana classes????

Welcome to the site and congrats! Where are you located so we can help with pre-cana. (diocese) Have you looked into cruises for your HM? That is what FH and I are doing.

i live in farmingville, Suffolk County. I have looked at many of the sandals resorts and i thought antigua was beautiful but everything is beautiful on the internet.
do you think ill be able to get into a class before my wedding?

congrats and welcome! can your church direct you to a pre cana class? my precana, for example, is done twice a year, so you have time. and im going to sandals st. lucia, so i definitely would recommend that!! Good Luck

some people told me that there wasnt much to do in st.lucia so i looked elsewhere but the resort was beautiful . when are you getting married? and i called the people my church recommended and there completely booked till next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome and Congrats! The good news is that you have your date and reception hall so you still have some time to plan everything else. I would say the most important in photography and floral and then maybe DJ, Video, etc.

we're also going to st. lucia and i've found there's tons of stuff that you can do there - it all depends on what you like. we're water sports people.

i'm in farmingville too. i called around to a bunch of places today and it looks like we will be doing our pre-cana in may at one of the churches in ronkonkoma.
otherwise, i know church of the resurrection, where i'm getting married has their pre-cana starting in march on tuesdays at i think 7:30

Pre cana: you should talk to your church/or where you plan on getting married. They should set you up with that information. You need to book the church at least 6 months in advance. I know some precana classes are evenings, some are weekends, so I would ask your church to see.
Honeymoon: Hawaii, Fiji (expensive, but if we could afford it, I'd go there in a second).
Cruises are fun! Caribbean is fun. Bahamas and Jamaica are beautiful. Puerto Rico is also beautiful. Aruba (I'm thinking we are going to do Aruba- never went there before)
European honeymoon: island hopping in Greece. Spain, Italy. ahhh so many amazing places. It depends on your budget!
not catholic so can't help you there but we are going to couples swept away in negril jamaica

i have no idea if my church takes ppl outside of theiir parish but give corpus christi a try.

we did a one day precana at Our Lady of Lourdes in Massapequa..... we are going to Excellence Play Mujeres in Mexico for our HM... WELCOME!!

Welcome and Congrats! We did pre-cana at a church in medford which is not to far from Farmingville. For our Honeymoon we are staying at Sandals in Jamaica Negril.
