hi ladies!!! My name is Kate...I've been searching around on the site for a few weeks, but I feel weird because I am not ACTUALLY engaged (he's still saving for the ring) but we live together and have booked a place for July 5, 2008. I was hesitant to really introduce myself, but you guys seem awesome, so I wanted to say hi!!! I am already addicted to this website...it's sick!
Here's a little info about myself - I am living in Boston, getting my master's in elementary ed, so I will be a teacher next fall. But I have had my heart set on a wedding in my home church since i was little. SO I am trying to plan things from up here, and I would LOVE to have everyone's advice on vendors and stuff. So I look forward to chatting with all of you!
I can't wait till I actually get my ring and I can post fabulous pictures of it for everyone and finally feel like a 'real' member of the site!!! :)

well, as far as vendors go, im really looking for people's take on photogs. i love christina bohn's website...and that whole candid/black and white style...but no websites have prices!! it's so frustrating!!

they call the candid/black and white style, photojournalistic. I'm learning all about photographers too, I'm trying to book one before the month is over but clearly that is not going to happen. I can recommend the ones I liked that I have seen but I havent seen everyone! Most places are reluctant to give you prices unless you're there in person.
