I'm new/Bklyn vendor advice

Hi,

I'm new to the board. I am getting marred in Brooklyn in April and need some advice on vendors. Can anyone recommend a good photographer or dj in brooklyn?

Any input on Aldo's, Sal-Mar, or Marcy Studios in Brooklyn? Any input on Continental or Classie Sounds DJ? Or Personally Yours Entertainment (in Long Island)? Thanks so much!!

Re: I'm new/Bklyn vendor advice

i just booked with classie sounds and loved them

my MOH went to two weddings that they worked at and said they were great

keith did both of those weddings and that is who we booked with

but i also met billy and he has been in the business forever and was extremely nice and professional!

my photographer will most likely be Lombardo studios which is in Queens on Woodhaven Blvd if you are interested - they did my cousin's wedding and a friend's wedding - i have an appt with them on Monday

Good Luck!

I am a Brooklyn Birde as well..... just note that u don't have to stick with Brooklyn vendors- there are some pretty nice ones on LI.

I have her that Classic Sounds is very good- seems like a few LIW girls are starting to use them....

Aldo- a cousin of mine used them back in 1996 and I don't thnk she had any complaints- they have a beautiful photo studio..... go in case of bad weather.

For flowers(even though u didn't ask ) I recommend FLower Michel (John) who is vendor on here 300%- do a search and u shall see he gets rave reviews!!

Enjoy your planning....
