HEYYY EVERYONEEE!!!
So as I promised a short review quickly!
FIrst of Friday was the BEST day of my life!!! I can't believe how calm I was. I figured I'd be a nervous wreck and I was the complete opposite. As calm and collected as you could imagine. All morning was so much fun hanging out with my girls and parents and it was just FUN!!!
The nerves kicked in just as I was about to walk down the aisle and I was shaking like a leaf, but it is the single best moment of the entire day for me.
We definitely had some snags and I will include them in my full review but here are a number of the positives...
Weather.... A+ INFINITY!! We couldn't have asked for a better day!
Duet (TJ's Team) A++++++++++++++ they were fabulous!! Even though we were running a little late on time, TJ still made sure to get all the getting ready pics I could ask for. They were all so nice and funny. I am sooooo glad we went with them and Duet girls rest easy, you made a great decision!
Tommy Tunes!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++
OMG they are one of my most favorite vendors and everything about them was perfect. Joe E our MC was soooo incredible! He said he was so impressed with our party and he had a tough time getting people OFF the dancefloor for the times when they needed to be seated. I give all the credit to them! Joe even came up to me in CH and said he had a surprise for me. We had planned to have 2 walls with color kinetics, well as a wedding gift they did the entire room!! I was stunned when I walked in. I love them and if I ever have the need for a DJ again, I know EXACTLY who I am using. I love them!!!
Now the biggie
Jericho Terrace! AAAA++++++ for eternity!
Each and every person at JT was outstanding! They went above and beyond and we didn't even have to ask for a thing they did it all before we could possibly even think of a request. Jose our matre'd was THE BEST!!! He made sure every single thing was perfect and is such a wonderful sweet man, I am truly going to miss him. Our bridal attendants, Rosa and David were PHENOMINAL!!!! Rosa noticed my bustle broke before I did and was on her knees with saftey pins fixing it within seconds. They were fan-freaking-tastic and are sooo wonderful! The food was incredible everyone has been raving about it! Our maritini luge quickly turned into a shot luge and my family and friends were taking shots right off the ice. THe martini bar bartended just rolled with it and was soooo fun! Our cake which was ordered through JT but provided by Dortoni's was so perfect! I was a little worried about it bc I know our damask design would be difficult to pipe (since our cake was all buttercream although it looks like fondant) and not only did it look incredible but it tasted like a dream!!!!!! DH and I are going to Jenna's wedding there in a few weeks and we just cannot wait to experience JT from the other side. He and I keep saying we would have liked to been a guest at our wedding so we could experience it from everyone else's point of view.
Small things, my BIL's speech was THE BEST! People are still talking about it, and the staff at JT said it was the best they ever heard, he was funny when he needed to be and sentimental when he wanted to be also. I can't wait to watch it again on video! My sister who couldn't be at my wedding recorded a speech onto DVD and JT played it for everyone in the room it was so touching and such a wonderful addition. I am sooo thankful she did that for me.
Overall the day was perfect and everything I dreamed of. Even my DH who HATES pink said yesterday that he couldn't see the 'big picture' while we were planning and now he loves it and thinks it all looked perfect together.
THank you everyone for your well wishes, your comments on Laura's thread of pics and all the support over the past year and a half. We are off to St.Lucia very early in the morning tomorrow and can't wait for our HM. I will be back with pics, a full review and many many more details when we return.
