I'm off to buy shoes for a wedding I am going to on Saturday, but I have a question...

This wedding is on Saturday evening. Is it possible I am overdressed for it?

The dress looks like this, but it's red:

I love it and it only cost me $14.77 at JCPenny's. But I am afraid I will be overdressed.

That's a nice dress, then.

(I just wanted to make sure that you weren't going to end up looking like a bridesmaid- I am overly sensitive to that because at my cousin's wedding, 2 guests had VERY similar gowns in the same color as our bridesmaid gown)

Oh yeah, before I bought it I made Fh call hs mom so she could call and find out what colors they are using. I would have felt horrible if I walked in with the same colors as the bridal party. I seriously would have left.
