...that I'm completely and totally having second thoughts about my dress...
I bought my dress right after Thanksgiving at a trunk show...and now I look at the pics and I think I hate it...
Everyone tells me it's normal to feel this way about it because it's purchased...and I keep trying to remember what I loved about it when I bought it... but it's hard.
I'm worried it'll be a huge disappointment when it comes in ...
Anyone else feel this way??

I certainly did.. and each time i look at the pic I realize why I loved it to begin with.. and each time I have a fitting i realize that I love it. I hink all brides go through this!

Ditto! And thank god for LIW or I'd think I was the only one too! I thinks there's just so many thousands of dresses to choose from, its only natural to wonder about such a big decision!

Once you can try it on, and take pics, you'll love it all over again.

Oh my God I have been feeling the same way. But I think everyone is right....we picked our dress for a reason and unless we were completely out of our minds psychotic when we purchased it, it will look beautiful.

I've had my moments of hesiitation and doubts--- and freak outs (b/c it wasn't a cheap dress!- so I would hate to hate it, y'know?) but when I went back to try it on again I LOVED IT!!!! and then at times the doubt creeps back---- other times I look at my pics and fall in love all over again and know I made the right decision--- Its just cold feet... If it felt right enough for you to ordered it --it was probably the one!! Don't worry--- Do you have any pics to post?

And besides-- i don't think Platinum by Priscilla is capable of making an ugly dress!!! It will be gorgeous!!!

I have not had second thoughts but I don't think thats rare to feel iffy about it. But think of it this way do you really think you would have purchased it if you did not love it? Esp. when these bad boys cost soooo mch $$$??

oh boy did I feel like that, I even started a thread & asked brides for reasurance. I had been to about 7 bridal salons & then ended up going to priscilla of boston & bought a melissa sweet dress within 10 minutes at a sample sale. I really did like it at the store & then started having huge doubts. I even began dress browsing again just to see if I would find something better. I actually decided to keep it because it is a pretty dress & it does looks pretty on. You chose the dress for a reason. You must have loved how it looked on or loved the details or style of it. I'm sure it's beautiful. Could you post a picture for us? We wil tell you the truth.

maybe you're just nervous b/c of the finality of it? Now that you bought a dress, do you think you rushed into it?? Maybe once you try it on again, you will remember why at one time you thought the dress was perfect??
