It might be a little scary but GOOD FOR YOU! You do not need to work in a place like that! In the longterm I think you will see that this is the best move you could have made!

BRAVO! I admire you! I read the post that you wrote about the events that lead up to this. I can't believe some people! How rude, inconsiderate and catty can some people be. How can they care for children with attitudes like that? Good for you!

Best of luck! I'm a teacher too and if I hear of any openings in my school I'll pass them your way. May not be much I can do, but you never know!

nope...she said she'd rather me resign than her fire me so at least I can stay on as a sub or get transferred to another school in the area...

Now I'm not so sure I want to be a teacher

sorry to hear this but don't let one bad experience turn you away from teaching. If you truly do want to be a teacher you won't let this stop you!

Don't give up being a teacher just because you met a few bad apples! ( no pun intended) You will find the right school for you that will make you happy!
