so FSILs BP is in 2 weeks- were goin gto AC- her mom has comped the rooms, FSIL wanted to go on thursday, so i booked a room- her cousins and maid of honor decieded they will not come early and are coming for just satruday night
anyway i got all the sashes and silly stuff in party city- and her cousins were supposed to do the tshirts, she really wanted them
last week at the shower they said the werent paying 25.00 for a tshirt they were wearing once
so like a jerk, i ordered everyone tshirts so fsil could have what she wanted since my grls are being so wonderful and taking me to jamaica i feel likei have to give back
but ughhhh there so frustratingggg like get the damn tshirt who cares if thats what she wants give it to the girl!!!

booo, sorry you have to deal with party poopers
We did that for our friend's birthday one year and FH and I still wear the t-shirt for lounging/gym. It's still a t-shirt, you can wear it more than once

That's horrible! For my Sisters Wedding I was her MOH and I spent so much money I didn't even ask the girls for a lot I bought everything for the BParty they pitched in for the Limo and I made everyone tanks tops costed 400 all together but you know what Seeing her smile the whole time and be as happy as she was it made it all worth it. Some people are just so selfish and think that the little things don't matter. GOOD JOB TO YOU THOUGH

Speaking of bachelorette party shirts.....I stayed up till 1am making them for my friend!!! They look okay, but I just hope everyone appreciates them, I am so tired!!! I worked 8am to 11pm yesterday so I really just wanted to go to bed. I hate when MOH's suck!!!

i don't know why some girls can be so catty and b*t*hy like its only once. who cares if you will only wear it once. you obviously mean something to the bride and that is why she asked you to be in her BP suck it up and do it. and not for nothing, why is the MOH only going for one night! she should be there the whole time!

That's annoying that the girls are only attending one night but...
I hate to be the dissent here, but it sounds like the girls are having money issues which I can totally relate to. And I wouldn't be too keen about spending $25 on a t-shirt that a) I will wear once and b) have to walk around all day or night dressed in the same tshirt as everyone else. Sorry.
I'm a bride too, and I don't expect my girls to blow their savings just because I want particular things for my party. I'm not going to make them dress a certain way and where we go and how much we spend is, within reason, going to be a consensus based on what everyone thinks they can realistically afford to do.
Yes, the bride wants, but the bride isn't God, she has to be reasonable too. Just because she wants things doesn't make a money tree grow in each BM's back yard. It's really easy to lose perspective as a bride. Just my 2 cents.
ETA, I know it's only $25 but when you're trying to trim corners, that's like... lunch one day or the cover at a club and a drink one night, KWIM? Things add up at those parties and if I only have a couple hundred to spend, $25 is a chunk.
