what is the deal with WE DO letters? See them mentioned etc. What are they used for? Just decoration?

they are just wood or another material. painted or decorated to put on your cake table, another touch
some get love..or true love...or we do....lemme find some pics

when i was searching it i came across a newlywed thread of funny emabarassing or gross things that happened at the wedding...check out what someone did to the 'we do' letters...friggin hysterical

OMG that is AWESOME!!!! Could totally see my brothers doing that. At my youngest brothers wedding, my other brother stole my brothers and SILs underwear and ran them up the flagpole the night before the wedding. They had no idea.....and there those underwear flew the entire ceremony and reception. The pics of their faces when we told them what happened were priceless.

we bought love letters on a vacation, i should really post them, FH just liked them a lot and we figured we could use them for the cake and for at home on a shelf or something. and that picture is the exact reason why i wouldnt trust anyone at my wedding with the we do letters, not even FH lol

I'm not so sure about the letters... I LOVE a lot of the ideas on this site, but at some point... it just gets to be too many little things that can be taken out of the budget to save money.
