A group of lawyers and their secretaries went out to lunch and didnt offer to take me or anything. I do alot of work for them as well. I work for many different companies indirectly and several give me gifts each year. But they didnt even acknowledge me in any way. Not even a card to say thanks. A card would have been nice but nothing is a slap in my face I think.

Sorry T. I'm not sure what your arrangement is; but I used to work for this one firm that sublet office space to another and I would answer phones and doing work for both. The subleasing firm always thought that I was being 'taken care of' by the other firm as part of their rent. Is it possible that this is the case??

I doubt it they see the other gifts I receive by other people. I dont even leave my desk for lunch. I eat at my desk and run to the bathroom between things if I can. They even know I was invited to the last luncheon which I had to decline because of my boss.

I am sorry that is a slap in the face! did you get them anything for christmas? if you didn't give them anything yet I wouldn't.
