Im pissed... FMIL AGAIN!!

EDIT;;;;;;my FMIL invited tons i mean tons of children to our wedding when i TOLD HER NO CHILDREN please!!! i dont want small kids running around my wedding SORRY! she went from 70 people on her list to 95! grrr im so mad!! how do i tell her thre email because im a chicken to talk to her face to face lol she has a family of 7 and 5 of them are children not teens or in there 20's. i didnt inivte my small cousin because i dont want children and no one seems to get the point. any advice for me?!
mE AND MY fh are fighting as im typing this. shes so rude going against what i asked and my fh is on her side because its his freaken mother. grrr im so pissed!! i cant even type anymore because this is getting me so upset and im now crying all this woman knows how to do is make me cry and get under my skina and i cant take it! i wish she would move far away and leave us alone. i really am starting to hate her!! and i know hate is a strong word but i really do. ok going to go now and flip out some more lol night ladies

Just to make you feel better- I asked for al ist of 40- got a list of 98. With first names only- no last names or adressess.

Can your FH talk to her. Why are you in the middle? I feel bad for you b/c this lady is always making trouble. Ask FH to take care of this issue.. you need a mental break.

yeah im getting off now and going to eat a big bowl of ice cream lol and pray things are better tomorrow! one can only hope lol thanks for listening to me AGAIN about my psyco mother in law!! lol

Email her and say

'Im sorry maybe you misunderstood our wishes, but I dont want to hurt your feelings but at the same time we have chosen not to invite anyone under the age of XXX. We dont feel that our reception is a place for children, we would like our guests to fully enjoy themselves without having to chase them around. I would appreciate if you could go thru your list and take out those that dont mean our wishes. I am sorry but this is something that we have thought about over and over again and have chosen not to invite them'

Maybe she will get it, if not then you need to get a little tougher with her and tell her straight out NO

also for future issues, ABSOLUTELY, have your FH be the liason.

I swear it will save your relationship with her in the future.

It might be hell on him but it takes the pressure off of you and maybe it will be easier for him to discuss it with her and he could be more firm to tell her exactly how its going to be etc...this way you dont look like the bad guy...I had to do that a couple of times already. I just keep saying we have to keep within our budget (since we are paying for it ourselves) we can afford and if people respond no, then we can vist it later if we have additional room still.
