so me and Fh have been toying with the idea of having a 2nd engagement shoot, also with duet
So I called Duet and they say its 300$ and I ask if they can lower that $ since Ive gotten quotes from other photog. for that same price and since im booked with Duet I should get a lower price. the guy says ye i dont think we can and that also my photog Danny is really busy and they are trying to cut back on e-pics and that for example today they have 5 scheduled.. Um ok??????? which one is it the $$ or that Danny is busy. I mean r they jk!!! I dont want to go with a diff photog for for a 2nd e-pic session.
Im so maddddddddddddd!
what should I do???????

Maybe u should wait if u want....
We will do 2nd shoot of Epics but Next year,,, and We will do Another photographer.

I told him ill wait until feb after he said the next time danny is not really busy is feb ! if it means he can lower the price id wait. but he was just not cooperating. ughhhhhhhhhhhhh

I just had my engagement pics with Danny yesterday and he did say that he has an e-shoot every day this week and for the next couple of weeks.
I don't think Duet likes to give more out than they originally contract for. They don't really seem that negotiable.
Is there a reason why you want another e-session? Just to have? Or did you not like your first one?

We want to do a shoot at 2 diff locations and duet wouldnt do that for us in our orig shoot. this time we want to take the pics where he proposed. The first one was at the beach.

The only thing I can see happening is if you say you were 'unhappy' with the first shoot and want it reshot. Maybe they would be more willing to reduce the fee if you're not happy with the work they did the first time.

Is there a way you can contact Danny directly and speak with him? Worse case scenario- go on craigslist and find a photographer who would do it for free. I've seen a few listings a few months ago...

There are a ton of smaller photographers out there that don't have that much over head, that i am sure would do it for less.

I would insist they work something out with you. Maybe you can do the middle of the day during the week. I wouldnt give up. They are booked for your wedding where they are getting a hell of alot more than 300

thats exactly how I feel!!!!!!!!!!!! plus I would only be allowed to do it during the week bec thats their policy for e-pics but he still says they wont budge.

I would book with someone else. I want someone who is really going to enjoy shooting my e-shoot rather than feeling like they are 'squeezing me in'.

I don't like that they are not being cooperative, that really isn't cool. It is not like you want them for free and it was their choice not to let you shoot at 2 different locations.

they told me I have to talk to andrew which is who I booked with and he is the one who told me all of this. so I emailed him telling his basically this isnt cool, but like someone said I dont want to be 'squeezed in' to their schedule.
