im poor and i need some help from some crafty/creative girls!
my dads birthday is coming up and i have a lack of money..not to mention that he is the hardest person to shop for anyways and every year he tells me not to get him anything..and this year im especially strapped for cash
so i was thinking instead of buying him something that he probably doesnt need or want anyways maybe id make him something...but i havent got a clue what
im open to all and any ideas that u girls may have that doesnt cost a whole lot of money

maybe a collage frame of pictures of the two of you through the years and leave one blank for a photo of the two of you at your wedding??

What kind of crafts can you do? Knit, sew, crochet, scrapbook, etc.? What supplies do you have on hand? What are your dad's interests?

i cant knit/sew/crochet but pretty much anything else i can figure out how to do..i have a ton of crafty supplies..my dad likes golf and fishing and watches every sport imaginable on tv

ask your mom...i'm sure you have pics of him at your graduation or confirmation or anything like that!!!
ask any relatives too....see if they can send you a pic or 2...
if you can't do pics of you TOGETHER....do one side as pics of you growing up...do one side pics of him growing up.....and again - leave the biggest spot empty for the wedding pic!

It doesnt matter what you get him...do something memorable and sweet. Take him to a movie and ice cream or take him into the city to see the tree and get a hot dog, or take him to a local nutcracker show. Something like that...and bring a camera, take pictures, and for the holidays give him a nice frame with the both of you.
