but I have been feeling really depressed (mopey) lately, and last night I had so many BAD dreams! I dreamnt that I was going to die after the baby is born, I had a dream my DH was killed??? It wouldn't stop last night!!! I woke up crying, and it's still stuck in my head. I keep thinking something bad's going to happen, and I don't know how to stop thinking those things? I didn't watch anything on TV last night, I just think it's because I've been so worried about being there for the baby. HELP!!!

Re: I'm really hoping it's my hormones...
Oh, you poor sweetie! I'm so sorry you're having such horrible dreams! Don't worry - I truly believe this IS your hormones....strange dreams are actually pretty common during pregnancy and I remember having some doozies, too...and, I think I even had one about my DH dying, too!
If it makes you feel any better, I also think it's totally normal to be stressing about being around to care for your child. Becoming a parent is A TON of responsibility, and perhaps your subconscience is trying to resolve some fears you might have about the changes taking place in your life.
Maybe it will help if you talk about your dreams (and your fears) with your DH - so that you and he can work out some things like life insurance, wills, assigning legal guardianship of your child etc. in the unlikely event that something happened to either of you, the baby would be taken care of.
Don't worry! Everything's going to be fine!

Re: I'm really hoping it's my hormones...
I have had those types of dreams and/or fears about DH since 9/11. I also have had a number of 'what if I died' thoughts during my pregnacy. Scott and I are trying to consider who we would want to care for our child in the event that something happens to us (God Forbid) and we need to have our Will drawn up. I believe it is VERY important to take that seriously when you are a parent.
But those dreams are very normal during pregnancy and even after the baby's birth.
