I'm really loving...

I'm really loving that there is a website where the chat is all weddings all the time! I don't want to become one of those brides who inundates everyone around her with nothing but wedding chat. Luckily here, it's all right! I just wish I wasn't getting so much mail and so many phone calls...but it's a small price to pay for getting to know everyone on here!

Thanks! Yeah I'm having a lot of fun here especially since we just started getting 'gung-ho' about planning! Just asked my cousin to make my veil and feeling pretty accomplished!

Agreed! I'm the only friend in my circle who is engaged so I feel like a PITA when wedding stuff comes up - this site is perfect for it

Congrats & welcome!!! Don't worry the phone calls will stop soon once you book a photographer or DJ or whatever. If you don't know the number just don't answer & let them leave a message.. just tell them your booked & they'll slowlyy stop calling i felt bad doing it but someones gotta do it lol I did both of those lol

I haven't gotten any phone calls yet (knock on wood) but I do get a lottttttt of mail

Congrats and welcome!! The phone calls will stop and the mail will also slowly stop. I don't get nearly as much mail as I use to. I also don't pick up the phone if theres a number I don't know. They'll get the hint after a while! lol

Thanks, girls!! I'm going with my girls and mom to look at bridesmaid dresses and a MOTB dress tonight! I'm hoping there will be enough time for me to try on a few as well. This is so exciting and slightly overwhelming!!
