I'm really sad

I think my MOH and I are drifting apart. As the wedding gets closer, I speak to her less and less. She lives in NJ and I live in MD so we only really see her when I'm up for wedding stuff. I don't have a best friend (besides FH) and very few girlfriends, but I chose her because at the time we were closer. But now with 28 days until the wedding there is nothing I can do. I'm just so sad that I may have a MOH that years down the line I don't keep in touch with. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but she was an hour late to my shower and yesterday at my fitting she fought me on wearing black shoes instead of the silver she had bought. All the other girls wanted black and the woman at the store the woman said black would be best . But I said to her 'whatever you want' and she said okay. Shouldn't it be what the bride wants? She came around, but I'm still thinking she doesn't really want to be in the wedding. I don't know, it's hard to read her. Maybe I should just let things be since the wedding is so close. I have no one else to be my MOH anyways.

I would focus on the love and friendship you share with your FH, and know that you are marrying your best friend. As for your MOH, she shouldn't be making waves so close to the big day! Feel better!!!

aww I think a wedding does that, pushes friends apart. Maybe after the wedding, you could talk to her. I hope she comes around.

Very well put...

This experience has def taught me who my real friends are...my MOH and I were friends since 7th grade and she turned out to be the fakest person. I had to replace her...it really stinks.
But your wedding is so close, I would just focus on your FH and all the positives..and if your not friends after the wedding then just remember...everything happens for a reason.

I agree! Focus on the positive relationship you have with FH! In the long run, he'll be the ones who is always there by your side!
