I'm scanning proofs! But why is it so slow?

I'm scanning proofs! But why is it so slow?

I don't use our scanner too much, but it's taking FOREVER to upload these pics! At least 2 minutes each. Is this normal? We're using 360DPI resolution in case we (or anyone we send them to) wants to print them out. Any suggestions or should I just suck it up? Thanks

I dont know, mine takes like 10 - 15 seconds.

I didn't have to scan mine since they were digital files, but uploading took a ridiculously insane amoutn of time. I know nothing about scanning but I hope you're able to figure it out.

I haven't had any luck making it quicker I'm using a program called Adobe Photo Deluxe and it's still taking about 2-3 minutes per picture. I have over 1000 proofs
