Cause someone told me like all the dresses are size 8 or 10 so you can't really see what they look like on you. I think I'll be a 16 at least!

You can't let the size bother you at all
it is just a number and you have to remember they run extremly small
I am a tiny girl and i had to get a size 10

yes that is soooo true!!!!! i am soo tiny! (petite) and those dresses are humongous and i am having such a hard time figuring out which dress is best for me but i think i found one lol i can't say it yet!! i have to try it on again! lol
But what makes me nervous is they said that like They will only have 8 or 10 in stock and so when you try it on they put like these extenders on to make it fit you, and you don't really get the full effect of what it will look like in your size....

dress sizes do run small, but most places will have a regular size and a plus size demo dress...But wedding dresses run smaller than normal size, so a girl who is normally a 6 needs a 10, normall a 2 a 6, get what i mean?

yeah that makes me nervous too...im very busty so i always need larger sizes...an 8 or a 10 with extenders isn't going to give me a great idea of how the dress will look like in my size

When I tried on dresses they had a 16 for me to try on. (I am normally a 12) Most larger bridal shops will have a variety of sizes.
Someone told me that david bridal carries all sizes in stock cause it's like you buy it on the spot kind of thing so if I don't see anything I like then I'll prob go there the next day. But I have to get it soon cause I only have almost a year to my wedding...

David's bridal does have all sizes...when i went there last year i was trying on sizes 14 and 16 and they had them in every dress i wanted to try on.

I went to David's Bridal twice and just showed up both times. I think as long as its not a busy time (like a sat. afternoon) you'll be fine!

Ill be a size 10000 ugh I am dreading the dress shoppig as well. I hate dress shoppingto begin with so it will be tourture.

I'm a street size 16-18 right now and i went this past weekend. I had no problem. many of the dresses I tried on many corset backs and a few othe types and though they might not have fit 100% you can still see how they will look.

the size is just a number... and only you will know taht number anyways!!! and they had bigger sizes than that when i tried dresses on! just go for it! you will have so much fun!

If you saw the picture of me trying on the dress you would notice the 7 foot gap in the back where the dress didn't zip. don't care..my dress kicks a*&

You can't look at the size. At all. Remember, most of the time the dress altered to fit your body. You are still going to be stunning no matter what size the tag says! When I tried on my wedding dress, I was clipped all the way from my knees to my chest! I didn't want to see the size, because I fell in love with the dress. Don't be scared! Just enjoy the moment :)
