oh wow...you guys (girls ) are so welcoming
i feel so special already haha.....I've actually been lurking around for some time now...researching halls and such, now that I'm about to go and actually meet with some of them and get things rolling I figured it was about time to actually join...considering all the great advice everyone has to give :)
....and indeed i am a Leap Year bride!! YaY!! After a few months of trying to figure out a date and time of year that would suit us (we originally thought of October since that's when we got engaged) we decided on 2/29. Since we've been together for 6 years and co-habitating for 5 (it feels much longer...) we felt like we had so many things we were already celebrating (the day we started dating, our engagement date, etc, etc) since 2/29 only technically comes once every four years we thought it would make our anniversary extra special (not that it wouldn't already be special)...of course we will still celebrate every year but it gives us an excuse to celebrate more (read: a reason to go on vacation) when the actual date comes around :)
anyway....i off to my first hall appointment this evening....i'm a little nervous since i really don't know what i should expect and i don't want to forget any of my questions but I'm sure it will get eaiser as we visit more....
