The only thing I've booked is the RH. I haven't made any appointments for DJ, florist, church, transportation, etc. Now that the semester is over, I'm hoping I'll get started over the summer.
Anyone else in the same boat?

Im in the same boat. I have been putting off booking the photographer/ videographer for a while now but I am going to try to motivate myself and book by the end of the month of July

yea, we only have our RH booked, i've contacted photographers but they arent booking 2010 till next year.

Yea you're not alone. The only big vendor i've booked is the RH as well. I've been concentrating on the smaller things and diy projects. We probably won't book any other big vendors until the beginning of next year. As long as you're dong your recearch in the mean time, I wouldn't worry as much. We do have quite a while!

I agree...most of the time I feel fine with the fact that I haven't done much...and other times I see how much gals on here have done and I get a little nervous. I'm honestly happier thinking about DIY projects than who will be the DJ!

we've only booked the RH and photographer/vedographer. i asked FH to look into the dj and well yea we havent had any appointments to go to yet since he;s been slacking lol so thats where we are

I dont know.....The way i see it is that theres really no reason to rush yet (Unless There's a specific vendor you want, which was the case with ny photographer.) I would DEF get on the church thing if you're gonna do anything. You gotta be married before you can party!!!!

I'm not slacking on booking vendors. So far, I've only booked the RH and have been back and forth on the phone with the priest of my parish regarding: my date, and whether or not FH needs to get confirmed.
It's one thing to move my date at the RH, it's another to rebook several vendors on the off off chance the church has an issue with my date. So we're chilling until the church is finalized.

I've had RH and church booked since Feb. We havent booked any other vendors since. A big problem are the deposits required!!! We have a payment plan with our RH so we'll have half of the hall paid off by the time of the wedding. We cant afford any more deposits to book the vendors!!
