I'm so bored I could scream

I have no boss, I have no idea what I'm allowed to do because my boss was fired. I am in limbo because the person who I am going to work for still doesn't have the go ahead to do anything with me.

So I'm like a sitting duck.

I'm so bored, I'm thinking about ramming my head into a filing cabinet for fun.

That happened to me last year. My boss got fired and we broke up our group so I had no boss for over 3 months. The powers that be and I couldn't come to agreement on a specific department so I was on my own testing out various positions. It was around Christmas time so I took advantage and did alot of shopping and some extra days off.
