I just arrived at the federal courthouse in brooklyn. I put my bag on the security belt.
Security: ma'am may I ask what you're here for today?
Me: I have a 1230 conference
Security: you're an attorney?
Me: yes
Security: well the reason I ask is because, well, you have a fork in your bag.
Seriously I am so dumb sometimes!!!!
He's like well, ill let you keep your phone since you're an attorney... And your fork.

That's hysterical. When I was in jury duty there was one guard who would always tell me 'You know miss, you have a lot of crap in your bag.' Don't I know it!

The fork is there because I stab people with it when I'm angry.
I bring lunch a lot but we have no place to wash stuff on my floor- forgot to take it out at home last night. Oopsy!

i once was going into housing court in brooklyn and i realized that i had my magic bullet (blender) because i had made a shake that morning and i forgot to change the top from the blender one, so it had the metal blades. i was nervous going thru metal detectors but they didnt say a word!!
