I'm so excited... My FI and I went wedding ring shopping...
We had such a great time. He was so much more into it than I thought. We both tried on a lot of rings. We went to about 5 jewelry stores. He couldn't get over how happy I was to be ring shopping. It felt so good. Also, I picked out what kind of ring I want. 14K White Gold, 1/2 carat round diamond and baguette ring. BEAUTIFUL!!! There were some rings I can't get with my style Engagement ring because I have a Cathedral Style Band, but I really like it!!! I can't wait to get it. My fiance has an idea what he likes, so that's good. I needed to tell someone how excited I am!!! I can't believe we were ring shopping for over 3.5 hours. Time flies when you're having fun! It was so nice that we enjoyed ourselves so much. Our wedding planning has been kind of stressfull lately since we're out of state, so it put the fun and excitement back into the planning! Great!! So, did you place the orders? This was actually one of the more frustating parts for me and my fi, but we found exactly what we want for a great price last week, so I know what you mean. Where did you look?

We didn't place any orders yet. We were looking at Zales, Kay Diamonds, and some other one's here in North Carolina. We at least found out the style so we can tell a friend of my FI parents. She's getting a discount for us at Fortunoff's.

wedding rings...
are you guys looking at the same place that your engagement ring was purchased at? My ring has a matching band, but the place that we purchased it at is saying that it has to be special ordered...which means we have to purchase it before we see it! I think that's stupid, but if I look elsewhere, I don't think I'd be able to get a matching band. What are you all doing??

DON'T go to zales!! We got my first ring there, and 2 of my diamonds fell out within 2 weeks! so then we went to sammy's (Commack jewelry exchange) and it took us about 2 weeks to get our $$ back. sorry for anyone that got their rings here. It was just not a good experience for us...good luck
