IM SO FRUSTRATED!!!!!

I have one bridesmaid that has not come once to look at dresses, out of the 4times and whenever i show her a dress, she always has a bad opinion. So i call her to tell her about our next appt and again she might not be able to go!!!!

i can't handle that shite....i'm so glad i only have 2 BM's who are very accomodating.

i wouldn't care much for that BM's opinion, if i were you. figure out the dress that you and your other girls like, and then call her and say 'I've made a choice for the BM dresses, if you want to see it, you can come with me, otherwise I'll need yoru measurements and XX amount for the deposit by XX date.'

i know you want your BM's to like their dresses, but if she's not helping and shooting down choices, she's being a PITA. luckily for me, my 2 BM's saw the dresses and said 'Whatever you want me to wear, I'm okay with.' Too bad not everyone is like that!

Don't let her stress you. Give her several options for another appt. next time and she which one she decided to attend. If she 'can't' attend any, then you may want to reconsider her participation.

It's your day - you shouldn't have to act like you're pulling teeth if someone REALLY wants to be in your wedding.

seriously well said!!! what she is doing is wrong and inconsiderate... a lot of brides have BM's like that and i would just try and do what was posted above the most and not let her get to you!!

When it comes down to it, what she wears is YOUR choice. I know you probably dont want it to go down like that, but if she isnt giving input, maybe she has to be reminded of that.
Email her a pic of an UGGLLLYYY dress and tell here this is the one you are strongly considering.
Sit back and see how long it takes before she wants to go shopping to show you what SHE likes!

Melissa you're not only blessed but a genius for having a small BP!

IMO I say too bad for this BM. If she is being overly difficult she doesn't get a say. She is going have to wear a dress that the group that is present decides on.

I would ask her blatently if she really wants to be involved. Sounds to me as if she has excuses and such. Perhaps you can make the appoinment more in advance, so she can make herself available. I do that with my girls, and for the most part, it works out very well. Good luck sweetie
