I'm so furious with FH right now!

I'm so furious with FH right now!

We live in Massachusetts and we're coming in for our wedding next weekend. FH is obsessed with work and he refuses to come to NY before Thursday evening. I said that was OK and now he is hemming and hawing and talking about not coming until Friday - the day of our rehearsal dinner! When I objected big-time he started talking about taking a train that gets in at 1:00 a.m. on Thursday night/Friday morning. I really don't understand how he could put working a few extra hours about being with me on the night before our rehearsal dinner. I will need him there to get last-minute things done and I feel that we should be together. Honestly, am I wrong?

Hopefully he will reconsider and take the extra time off to be with you. If he honestly CAN'T, then maybe you can go without him? Have your family and attendants help with the last minute things? Sorry, I am not much help. I wouls definitely want him to be there, but maybe his job won't let him?

i definatly understand where you are coming from, but maybe with his line of work he physically can not take off at this piont. of course you need him by your side for support during this stressful time, but maybe your friends and family can fill in until he gets there.

He is his OWN boss - he absolutely CAN make it. I am going down on Sunday (4 days from now) and I wanted him to come down 4 days later on Thursday - we won't be together the entire week. That is why I feel he should at least be there on Thursday night.

Don’t stress! Maybe he’s nervous too. As long as he’s at the scheduled events everything will be ok.
I know you want him there and I would too but, I doubt you need one more thing to stress about. Rely on you family and friends that’s what their there for. Good luck and congrats!
