IM SO HAPPY

My fiance joined our local fire department in April of 2006 and he is considered a probi until April of 2007 .. mind you we are getting Married March 10 2007.... a friend of mine is also a volunteer in her local firedepartment and her husband is the chief of another fire department and they were able to use the fire trucks for the wedding and they had the firedepartment all dressed up saluting as they entered and exited the church .. etc ... the pictures looked amazing... any way i keep asking my fiance to ask if we can at least just have a fire truck to escort the limos.. but he doesnt want to ask becaue he feels like its not his place because he is still a probi .. to make a long story short . .my friends husband who is a chief .. was at a chiefs dinner this weekend and happened to mention it to my FH chief .. who said yea he did hear about my FH getting married.. then my friends husband continued to tell him the story and said that my FH felt wierd asking because he is a probi .. and my FH chief said dont worry we will take care of him.. probi or not .. 'WE ARE ALL A FAMILY HERE'... so i am so happy .. and want to share..

That's great news! I'm glad its going to happen. My FH's father was an FDNY chief and we're going to have a fire boat by the FDNY on the East River the night our wedding.
