I'm so infuriated!!! (Vent, kinda long)
I never vent on here but really need to now.....
Okay, so I have a wedding planner and recently it has been a total nightmare!! We hired her to do our wedding planning and in the beginning it was great. Then over time things started slipping and canceled appointments from her started happening. FH and I had discussed this with her, she apologized and said she was going to hire more assistants and that things would be better. They were for a little while, then it started happening again. One major problem has been our invitations. From the beginning she knew we wanted her to do her invitations. We made an appointment with her in the beginning of December, picked one out and asked to see a sample of it. Instead of sending it out to company to do them, she suggested she would do so that it would be a little cheaper. We asked her when she would be able to have a sample to us and she said right before x-mas...so we made an appointment. Well a couple of days before the appt she canceled on us stating that the paper would come in on time. She said we can meet the following week (even though I told her numerous of times that we would be out of state that week). I called her when we got back (which was a Sunday) and we scheduled an appt for that following friday at 6pm. Well friday comes and at 5:30 she texts me stating that she had to cancel because she got into a fender bender. I text her back saying 'I hope your okay. Give me a call tonight so that we can meet in the am'. Mind you we needed to send these invites out by Jan 15th. Well....no call, no text, no nothing. I was so mad the next day, I had FH text her stating that we needed to meet with her asap since invites are supposed to go out in a week and we have seen nothing yet. She calls later that day and had set up a meeting on sunday to show us the sample. I sent FH to meeting since I had a makeup trial. FH gets there and text me that she doesn't have to the sample with her!! I could not believe it!! Well then she says that she will email me the letter later that night and drop off the sample the next day. Later that night I get an email stating that 'she can't access the program from home and will email me in the am'. Guess what.. I GOT NOTHING!!! No text, no email, no call. FH and I then had to go online and order invites (which thanks to Wedding Paper Divas) was delivered to my house on Wednesday.
Next thing...we had an appt with her to meet with our hall on Saturday and of course she was a no call no show. I called her stating that she missed an appt and she texts me back stating that she will call me soon and that her phone was dieing.
I don't know what else to do. She is suppose to make the process less stressful for us! I am just so infuriated, angry and upset. I apologize if I recommended her to anyone!!!!
