I'm so mad.. I broke our.....

toilet and it won't stop running! Really running! I tried lifting up the floaty thing and it cracked off! now it won't stop and my DH hung up the phone on me b/c I told him that I tried to shut off the water to the toilet and the knob won't budge and he asked me again and I told him that I DID try and he hung up!!!! Now I'm stuck with a very running toilet and a mad husband!

I am sorry. I am not having a good day either, I know how that feels.

Nora- I have 3 toilets- 2 upstairs and one downstairs. No biggie for me and my DH, but we have been working on our stairs and we don't have a railing- SO I do not (and they won't) want my or DH's parents walking up stairs especially after a drink or two! Oh yeah- it is the downstairs toilet that broke!

Well, my dad came and helped me fix it! Yea! It works now! With the help of Home Depot and my dad's experties (which is not plumbing) we managed to fix it!
