Tomorrow i have a consultation appointment about possibly getting Lasik.... I can't wait I dont know if we could afford it or not, but i would SOOO love to be able to see my feet in the shower!!
UPDATE!!!
Im going to do it!! Im still super nervous... but it turns out they have a teacher discount and an awesome payment plan... so August 4th is the date!! (the day before my birthday!!!)
im not allowed to wear contacts anymore... so wierd that i will NEVER put them in my eyes again!!!

I went to the Oplhamalic Center in Setauket... Dr. Basiclice... he is my regular eye doctor too.. so they already had all my info!!
I still can believe im actually doing this and the day before my birthday too!!!

That's great news! I've been trying to talk FH into looking into it but so far no luck. The people I know who've had it done are thrilled with the results.
just tell him to at least to attempt to go for the consultation... it is free... i cant believe i waited this long to do it!! But it is perfect timing... since im off all summer... i wish i did it last summer, so i could have enjoyed my HM with no contacts... but oh well... i was too much of a chicken to even consider it...

i had it done last year and then again this year to enhance one of my eyes, fm me if you have any questions! i love it, i couldnt' wait to get rid of my glasses...good luck everything will be fine, if i could do it anyone can!!

Dr. Basiclice did my FH's eyes about 5 years ago and he has no regrets!!!!!!!!! You will love it!!!! FH is thinking this would be good for me, but we have to wait till after the wedding!!!!!!!! Good luck!!!! You're in perfect hands!!!!!!!!!
