Tomorrow i have a consultation appointment about possibly getting Lasik.... I can't wait I dont know if we could afford it or not, but i would SOOO love to be able to see my feet in the shower!!
UPDATE!!!
Im going to do it!! Im still super nervous... but it turns out they have a teacher discount and an awesome payment plan... so August 4th is the date!! (the day before my birthday!!!)
im not allowed to wear contacts anymore... so wierd that i will NEVER put them in my eyes again!!!

Don't be nervous!! I have heard nothing but GREAT things about it. Have a few friends (one legally blind) who did it..and is SO happy!! Good luck!!

YEAHHHHHHH Cortney!!!! You're going to love it! I had mine done 18 months ago and I am so thankful! It's one of the best decisions I ever made!! Swimming, snorkeling, just even SHOWERING without any worries about contacts. Waking up and being able to actually see what time it is! I'm so happy for you!

My DH had it done before we met. He LOVES it. His eyesight is close to perfect. He can see much better than I can, and my vision is not so bad!

Good luck and things should be fine. My FH did it in January of this year and he said it was the best decision ever. So you won't be disappointed.

That's great news! I've been trying to talk FH into looking into it but so far no luck. The people I know who've had it done are thrilled with the results.
