You know, I see so many complaining of this and it did happen to me once - it turned out there was an old message that I never read but forgot about it because it got 'pushed down' the page by other FMs I did read. Once I 'read' it, the message stopped popping up.
Could there be something unread on, say, the second or third page of your old FMs?

omg u know i did that and i didnt see the very last fm on the first page. its from the 4th so ive been going crazy with this for over a week, i saw other girls mention it and it started happening to me so i was like great its the site
