My FH and i had a Bearded Dragon(lizard) for almost 8 years and he died yesteray evening. We are in complete shock.

wow! soo sorry....we have one too...he's only 1 1/2....u said u were in shock...do u know what happened?

Most definitly old age. They normally live 6-10 years or so for a well taken care of beardie. He slowed down the past 6 months or so didnt eat as much, poop as much and not as active. But had no signs of respiratory infection or anything like that. His tail base was thick and his coloring was great which meant he was healthy.

I'm so sorry to hear that. He had a good long and happy life though... thats all you could ask for
