Today is 2 years since my 18 year old brother & best friend passed away. (It's a long story but he should have never of died, he was basically murdered). Steve & I took off work to attend church and go to the cemetery. Please keep my family and brother in your prayers.
Awww Im so sorry! You must have been very close to him! Will you be remembering him in your wedding in any way? I'm sure that would be very touching!
I have a few things in mind, many of my vendors have been great. They want me to have something for my brother but they also want me to remember that, are wedding is a happy day. And if I go overboard with things for my brother it will be to much for people to handle.
Here are a few things I have in mind. 1; We are going to do donations to the ASPCA: 1. We love animals, 2: Vin always found strays and always found the owners he always go attached to these animals so I think that would make him happy. 2: A video montage. 3. His picture in my bo-k 4. A candle and flowers at church and at the RH. 5. One rose on a chair where the groomsmen will be sitting. That's all I have so far. I am open for more ideas if anyone has any.

I am so sorry. I can't imagine what you have gone through and are still going through. I have a little brother and if anything ever happened to him I would be beside myself with grief. I will definitely keep you in my thoughts today.

I have to say that planning this wedding has consumed my life and has made grieving a lot easier in a way. It was hard for my FH because that weekend he passed my FH was going to propose. Only my mom knew, he was so upset he never got to tell my brother he was going to ask me to marry him. My FH waited until Nov of 06 to ask to give everyone some time. Everyday is a challenge for me and my family.
