......I'm SO SO mad...UPDATED: UPDATED!!
Soooooooooooooooooooooo it takes A WHOLE LOT to get me mad however Adrienne's Bridal in Islip has got me so mad I was about to hit someone!! For my friends wedding July 8 this is where we ordered our BM dresses from....SO
I come all the way out there tonight FROM PORT WASHINGTON and show up at 6pm like my little freakin card says and in there book they have me down for 7pm..so I said 'well why does the time even matter if I'm here to just pick up my dress' and she says ' Your dress isn't ready...' I try to stay calm and I'm like
'ummmm what exactly do you mean it's not ready'..She says ' SHE HASN'T EVEN STARTED THE ALTERATIONS YET' WOW!!!! Now I freak out....I'm like 'you mean to tell me that you can take in an entire dress perfectly in an hour...you have to take in the top...take in the hips...take in the waist...hem the bottom and put a freakin bustle in AND you think you can do this in AN HOUR'...she says 'well if you feel my comfortable you could come back tomorrow' *** I say ' as it is I already have to wait a whole freakin hour for my dress b/c YOU ALL decided to change my time, I CANNOT come back out here tomorrow night...are you out of your mind'..So I now I wait.....
I come back an hour later.... THE FUCKINGODDAMNDRESS DOESN'T FIT!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I almost lost my cool and hit the seamstress in the head.........I'm like I can't breathe, I can't bend over...I can't even get the top on with my BRA ON....AND the bottom is to short.' Now I'm on the verge of tears I say ' maybe if you had this altered before I got here and now an hour before I got here we wouldn't be running into this problem' She says she can fix but NOW I have to go back next Thursday during the day (which may I add is also the night of my sister's rehearsal) to pick up my dress...it better flippin fit!
CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS!!! I'm calling the manager tomorrow and telling her I want 20 dollars taken off my alterations!! for 90 dollar alterations I want them flippin perfect and not done half fast!!! I'm so scared for next week now!!

UPDATE: I spoke with the manager and she first blamed it on prom season and then passed me off to a girl that works in the bridesmaid cottage, which pissed me off. She said normally they to fittings in threes, 1st fitting, 2nd fitting, pick-up.
So I said I understand but I showed up at 6, like my card said and my dress hadn't even been TOUCHED. It has been there for over 3.5 weeks and the day I come in, it's not even ready. So I said then the woman rushes to do it in an hour and F***s it up! I said if someone had called and told me, it wouldn't be ready that day, I would've been fine, but I drove from PORT WASHINGTON to there and then had to wait an hour for her to do a really crappy job on my alterations. Now you have to let a dress out, that was big on me to begin with and you have to add length to a gown that was to long on me. I said I understand that things don't come out perfect but come on, it was clearly not correct b/c she was rushing to get it done and further more she tried to blame me for it. The girl apologized and told me she'd take 10% off, I said I expect more then that & she said 'the manager left for surgery' (umm I JUST talked to her), she said when you come back in on Thursday I'll let you know if I could get more out of her and if your not happy then I'll let you talk with her directly!
(& my alterations were capped at 65 but they charged me 15 dollars for them to add a bustle which is just BS...all they did was add a hook and eye)
