My invitations are still not out yet and I'm getting married on September 15th.... The calligrapher's printer broke and we were supposed to have them back Tuesday, they weren't started until Tuesday. . My RSVP date is August 3rd, so even if I can get them out on Monday people have less than 5 weeks to RSVP...Is that bad?? I'm so stressed right now!

no dont worry sweetie ~ I am just getting mine out tomorrow ~ i have a 8/1 RSVP date... by the time they receive the invites it will be less than 4 weeks ~ I think you will be fine! my darling datttttttttttttttte twin!

THank you Moosh!! I read in some stupid book that you're supposed to give your guests six weeks...so I'm panicking like an idiot!!

mine are not out yet- hopefully tomorrow - but as someone pointed out to me the longer you give them to RSVP the longer they take!!!! he he so no worries!!!

Hi Dana! Don't worry - I just got my last RSVP two nights ago. I'm getting married in 8 days!!!! People are SO annoying. We had to call him to ask if he was coming!

I got mine out last week and im in the first few days of September. My RSVP date is July 30th. You will be perfectly fine!!! Im sure the important people already know the date of your wedding!!!

I have been having major invitation stress too! My invites are probably not going out until around July 15 and my rsvp date is August 15.
At this point, I dont care if people dont have the proper amount of time. I'm sure they can figure out if they can come to my wedding in 4 weeks time.

well if people responded on time, then maybe the six week rule would apply lol.....my RSVP is August 4th, so even though I'm giving them about 4 weeks, I'm sure I'll be getting mine up to 6 weeks after I mail out the invites anyway!! if the invite stuffing goes well tonight, they will prob. be out tomorrow...yay!! have no worries though!!! you have plenty of time!!

Don't Stress. From my invitation experience, iI have come to the conclusion that the more time people have between the time they receive the invite and the response date, the more likely they are to think they have so much time and forget when it is due and then it is late. On my responses date, i was missing 120 responses (approx. 60 response cards). I think you will be fine.
