Nothing is good enough for my fi mother, the dates not good, the place, the number of people, the band, the flowers..I've been so upset the past month. This is suppose to be the happiest time..but the ups and downs, its horrible. It feels like she's not going to come if it's not to her liking. I don't know what to do.

Engaged- We are getting married on the same day! Where is your reception?
I had the same problems as you did but with my own mom, and I just planned without her being involved. It's YOUR day and you have to so what you want, don't listen to anyone else!

I love your picture!! My fi wants us to get an engagment picture taken and send it to the paper, we haven't yet. Who was your photographer? It's so hard because I don't want to dissappoint anyone, and I know I can't please everyone. When it comes to weddings everyone in the family has there own ideas. My fi's mom is happy for now, we told her all she has to do is come and not to worry about a thing. It's less stress for everyone this way.

We used Gray Studios in Floral Park. We are using Michael for our wedding pics and they included a free engagement session with the package which is where my picture is from. He does amazing work!
