I am so frustrated and annoyed. I can not find a place to hold my reception. Everytime I go look at a facility it's either too expensive or I don't like it. I don't get that feeling like this is the place. Oh....I am so upset. Here is what I am looking for: -not more than $110.00 per person/including tax and grat -prefer 1 wedding at a time. Or at least do not even know another wedding is taking place. -not too far east or west. Majority of guests are coming from Nassau -nice grounds to take pictures -GREAT food and service It's like I just do not like anything on LI. Ugh....I thought this would be fun. I am just tired of looking already. Sorry I needed to vent.

Well CLM offered me $62/head Jericho Terrace $60/head and you take pics right outside and the inside is amazing Watermill $70/head.
I think all those places are nice and those are AMAZING prices :)

Did you look at the riviera? That was my first choice. I wound up at the Miller Place Inn with fits in with everything you're looking for but it probably is too far east for you. It's near Pt. Jeff. One wedding at a time, beautiful garden area...I even get to walk over a bridge for my ceremony!

The West Sayville Country Club is beautiful and is quite reasonable. It may be a bit East for you, but you should check it out. They just renovated in January.

i second west sayville cc..i am getting married there...its about 81 pp (without tax and grat) on sat and 60 pp on sun...it is very nice...on the water..steve, the manager guy, is great!! so personable!!

Are you looking into Friday and/or Sunday nights? That will cut the cost A LOT and maybe you can have it where you really like!

If you change the time of year that you are having your wedding, the prices will be significantly discounted. You could try Winter or early spring instead.

Well what you are looking for is exaclty why we booked Majestic. They have reasonable prices, BEAUTIFUL gardens (click here ), and only 1 function at a time!
But, it is probably...definitely too far you to travel.

Ok I am looking to get married on a Friday night in June. I know that is a prime time everyone wants to get married. Having about 150 people. Anyway, I look threw the book on sites and services and I honestly don't care for too many places. This is where I checked so far: -Woodbury CC--I liked it there. I just felt like something was missing from the reception room.(upstairs room). reasonable price -Fox Hollow--Too much stuff going on at once. Did not like the bm. No where to take pics. Can't use the side where flowers would be blooming, b/c thats other brides side. Reasonable price -Windows on the Lake--It was ok. Reasonable price -North Ritz Club--I liked it. Very nice. But way too expensive. For that price I would rather go to Flowerfield. But it was really nice inside. That's all I have been to. I honestly don't like anything from pictures that I have seen. I honestly don't want to go to 20 different facilities. As of right now WCC is my favorite. They was soooooo nice there. I am going to visit Jericho terrace and FI wants to look at swan club. But I heard like 3 weddings can go on at once. Don't like that. So thats all of my info.

Oh I forgot to add I am trying to find a place before Valentines day. Because I know there will be more brides looking for halls. That makes me more stressed.

Try Westbury Manor...I'm biased but they have Beautiful grounds to take pictures on and have your CH...they are reasonable priced and give you alot...good luck

I second Westbury manor. We're doing Sunday afternoon and the price is reasonable. The grounds and the rooms are gorgeous, and everyone we have dealt with there is really nice.

have you tried the crest hollow?? gorgeous grounds to take pics so you wont have to go anywhere else for pics. not too expensive and although they can have up to 3 weddings in one night. i have been there for many weddings and personally never saw another bride and groom. also how about chateau la mer. only 2 weddings at a time, but they are spread almost 2 hours apart so you would never know. talk about gorgeous grounds and for a friday night in june it is only $85 pp without tax. i would really look into both of these halls.

The Beach Club Estate is beautiful (owned by the same owner as Windows on the Lake). One wedding at a time & definately within your budget but I'm not sure on the max# that can be accom. I had to guarentee 80 & had 94.
