I am so frustrated and annoyed. I can not find a place to hold my reception. Everytime I go look at a facility it's either too expensive or I don't like it. I don't get that feeling like this is the place. Oh....I am so upset. Here is what I am looking for:
-not more than $110.00 per person/including tax and grat
-prefer 1 wedding at a time. Or at least do not even know another wedding is taking place.
-not too far east or west. Majority of guests are coming from Nassau
-nice grounds to take pictures
-GREAT food and service
It's like I just do not like anything on LI. Ugh....I thought this would be fun. I am just tired of looking already. Sorry I needed to vent.

How is Crest Hollow CC? Did you try any of the food. How does it look inside?

I would try Riviera in Massapequa, it's beautiful especially in the summer.

Try the Meadow Club in Port Jefferson. It is located on Rt. 112. I LOVE it there, but then again I am bias towards it. I looked at 10 places before we decided. It is stressful...but it will be so exciting once you the book your hall....all the planning will begin

I strongly recommend Majestic Gardens. We would have booked had they been pretty much done for 2005 - one wedding at a time, affordable, GORGEOUS gardens, big room, great food, family owned...love MJ! Good luck!

I got married at the swan club beatutiful grounds. But its not one wedding at a time.

I defenitly recoment the Swan Club. That is where I am getting married and on a Friday night in September (1hour cocktail and 4 hour reception, full top shelf bar for 5 hours, wedding cake included) it is only $60pp and the grounds there are beautiful. They do have more than one wedding at a time but the rooms are not next to each other.

Swan club $60.00 per person that is not with tax and grat right??? Are the rooms on different floors?

That does not include tax and gratuity. But I am inviting about 140 and with tax & grat. it comes out to about $10,000.00. I have not been to the Swan Club yet (I live in NC and my Aunt on LI is helping me with the planning) but from what I understand it is still okay that there is more than one wedding. She really wanted us to book a place with one wedding at a time but she recommended this place saying that they handle more than one beautifully without you knowing there is another wedding going on. I am in the Contessa Room. THe Garden was all booked.
