I'm so upset...

I had a appointment to meet with meadow club and when we got there the receptionist sadi they were going into a meeting so we'd have to wait. She said it wouldn't be long....35-40 minutes later still no manager. So we left. I'm so upset because I really liked the place!! Please tell me this whole wedding planning becomes enjoyable one day!!!

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience with them - they've been nothing but great to me.

I can totally understand why you wouldn't want to book there though. Best of luck finding a new place - there are tons on Long Island - I'm sure you'll find somewhere that is just as beautiful within your price range

use this site Wedding Sites and Services to find some more halls. It doesn't have all the LI halls, but quite a few. Best of luck!

Sorry to hear that!

We looked at the Meadow Club and it was our second choice. We liked the menu at The Larkfield better though, so if you're interested in great food for your wedding I'd check it out!
