I'm so upset...

I'm sorry to complain about my job again but I'm at my breaking point. This terrible woman I have to work with (not in the office but we have a partnership with her) sent a nasty email to me and cc'd the head of my department. Knowing this woman I know she is totally trying to get me in trouble.

I am so upset...I want to walk out and never come back. FH said I could quit (yes, it's that bad) but I'm so worried we won't be able to afford the wedding.

I'm so upset girls, in tears at my desk.

What did the head of your department say?

My last job I had to deal with Nasty people all the time! We had a nice chat with our boss and told him he needs to have our back when people were nasty to us...
If this lady continues I would tell her you will refuse to work with her if she continues to be unprofessional, or perhaps have your boss tell her she can not be rude the the employees

ultimately I would look for a new job

As long as your boss is behind you, screw this lady! Update that resume, chickie!!! You don't need to be this miserable at work!!!! I'd get out. Don't just walk out, have something lined up....then walk out!!!! Remember, 2 wks notice is just a courtesy!

I was in the same situation as you. I tried to hold out until at least after our honeymoon but it didn't end up that way. Two weeks before my wedding I quit my job. FH has been really supportive too.

Just from experience, this feeling will not go away. Do what you can while you're there, get your resume out, search out alternative sources of income (I got a part time job) and once it becomes unbearable, I would just bite the bullet and quit. I honestly feel so much better and they asked me to stay for another two weeks to help train someone, so I agreed, but just knowing I won't be here much longer makes me feel better!
