I was using the curling iron yesterday, and I burned the side of my neck... how on earth I did that..I don't know. I'm usually good w/ all my hair tools. But it's all blistered, and I think I will def have a scar I'm praying that makeup will cover it the day of. This is just my luck, and has really put the icing on my cake for the week.
Will vitamin E on it help? I've been using bacitracin(sp?) What else is good to prevent scaring?
Look! I want to cry

bacitracin & vaseline believe it or not. They will keep the skin soft so it will be less likely to harden and damage the skin further.. Just keep rubbing that stuff on!! Keep it wet at all times!

Vitamin E will help a bit. Let it heal and dont pop the blister. Keep is covered and moist. This will help the healing.

Re: I'm so upset
I think the only thing I would use is vitamin E....I have used it before for other scars and it kind of smooths it out...I'm sorry that happened to you...I hope it goes away!

Oh, no! I would definitely go and see the doctor. I am not sure if they could do anything more than you're already doing but it can't hurt to ask.

mederma is good...but u shoudl let it heal first..u don't want to put anything on an open wound or blister. Worst case scenario u can always use dermablend. I had surgery on my chest (not anything enhancement wise ) and it left a hideous scar. I put the dermablend on and u can't notice it at all!! I doubt u will need to tho!

I love neosporin! I cut my finger pretty deep & kept reapplying neosporin on it for a few days & it worked like a miracle.

I've done this before. Once, when I was 16 I did it on the back of my neck and my Mom accused me of having a hicky. I hadn't even ever kissed a boy in my life when I was 16. It will go away. Vitamin E is a good idea. Burns are weird. I've burned myself with a curling iron many times with NO scar. BUt last year, I burned my arm on a hot cookie sheet......I have a terrible scar. I think it depends where the burn is, and I think the skin on your neck heals quickly/better than other parts. VItamin E is always a good thing to use....can't hurt!

Mederma is good! I think that is the name of it! Or go to a dermatologist and ask for Rx strength!
It will get better!

If you know any one that sells Mary Kay. There is a product that is in the satin hands set. It is a Extra Emollient cream. The cream works great. They use it on burn victims.
