I am so sorry! That happened to my kitty Mouse in April...I was hysterical! I miss her sooo much! I know how you feel...just grieve and cry and let it out...I hope you feel better! There is no easy way to lose a pet...they are a part of the family! I know there was a poem that was really beautiful, I forgot what it was though-spoke about losing a pet.

I went to see Max tonight. I signed all the paperwork to have him put to sleep and cremated (sp?)...I thought that the Dr was going to bring him into the room that I was in but he had me follow him into a small room where Max was in his cage. I was upset because he just stood there and watched me bawl my eyes out. He didn't say ANYTHING. I don't get it...why couldn't he of left the room??? I felt like I was being timed and was very uncomfortable so I hugged him for like 10 mins, said goodbye and left. Max looked so peaceful he put his head on my hand. He kept looking at me...and putting his head down. Almost like he knew what was about to happen. Im still completley devastated....I can't stop crying....

OMG I am so sorry...at least he had a loving face in his last moments and he went peacefully. I was in court the day my baby was put down and I was crying in front of the judge! Luckily a family friend/vet did it and my dad was with her...if you need to talk FM me! It is hard, but Max is truly in a better place and has no more pain

I'm so sorry -- I can only imagine how much it must hurt to lose your dog -- I have 2 dogs I can relate
