I'm sooo excited.....

Yesterday, Pete & I were at a friends house, and he was talking about how we were gonna have kids soon after the wedding.... He initially wanted to wait for a couple of years! I'm soo happy - I want to get pregnant soon after the wedding - w/i 6 or 8 months!!!!!!!!

Don't know how much you ladies know about this... who am i kidding.... you probably know more than my doctors......

the quaker oatmeal for women..... do you ladies know if that has my proper amount of pre-prenatal vitamins, or should i take more?

I personally wouldn't rely on just the oatmeal-I would eat it in addition to a prenatal.

Congratulations!
I don't think the oatmeal will do it... you can take any woman's vitamin that contains folic acid before you conceive. They are cheaper than prescription prenatals.

CONGRATS! That's great news!!!

Everyday, I take two of GNC's Women's Ultra Mega Dietary Supplement vitamins....I brought the jar to my OB/GYN when I was pregnant and asked if I could continue taking the same vitamin. It contains a larger percentage of my RDA of vitamins and minerals than any other multivitamin that is OTC (I think).

I also took additional folic acid supplements during pregnancy...the Ultra Mega DOES contain 100% of the RDA, BUT...during pregnancy, I wanted to be fully sure I was getting enough folic acid!
