I just fired someone at my job. The company had to eliminate his position because there wasn't enough work to do.
I feel terrible!!!
He's in his 50's just bought a new house!!! OMG.....I want to cry right now..
I don't like being the boss!!!

Im sorry..thats got to be so hard...my fh is a boss also and he had to fire someone last week...he felt awful..he had a family with children

That stinks! Sorry you had to go through that, this economy stinks right now. Something better is out there for him, don't worry it will work out.

i had to fire someone that was a couple years away from retirement, also a mother 3 days before christmas...all came down from corporate, i can relate and know what a horrible feeling it is, but remember it was not your decision
