Thanks for all your warm wishes everyone. No, I do not get any severance because I was a project employee - I worked from contract to contract each year.
I am applying to every publishing company I can think of for editorial work, so I really appreciate your suggestions!! Thank you - I love my LIW girls

OMG that horrible! I'm sorry I don't know anywhere thats hiring for that. Let me my fh if his company is hiring for something like that. He works for a company that makes electrics for the goverment. I don't know if they would need someone like you, but I'm sure an editor could be used for instruction manuels or something.
