I know I am really annoying with these questions, but I have never had any apartment renting experience before!
what is the average size of an average apartment....(square foot wise)

yeah we saw some others last night that were 2x or even 3x the size, and the space itself was PERFECT and HUGE but they were just not right for us. The area, the people living above and below us, the condition of the home, neighborhood, the landlords, etc.......
I think we are going to go with our gut and take it. There is not many apartments at all in that specific area that we want to stay in and we will make do for a year until we buy our home!
This is how we feel. It's worth it to sacrafice a little space to save for a year...You will have a home then and it's all worth it!! Having good tenets/landlord/ good area/etc is more important. It's a great price. Go with your guy!!

thanks jackie! it wil be worth it in the end! 2 br are obviously more desirable, but the 2 br ones we have seen are about $500 + electric more a month.....i just don't see the purpose to spend more for a very temporary situation....

my 1 bedroom 1 bath is about 840 square feet i believe. its smaller than we wanted or expected because we wanted a large dining room table and more kitchen space, but beyond that its perfect size wise!
