I review medical claims everyday for our members. And I was just told by our UR dept that one member who is a foreigner only in this country a short while was admitted to the hosp in Quarantine becuase he has something that was picked up in his country.
We see several of these cases a month
Its not fair. Call it inhumane call it what you want but laws need to be tightened and people need to be screened more. Immigrants should be tested for tb, baterical disease before they leave the airport. They need to be monitored
Im so freaking skeeved out because I serviced that shop only a month ago and came into contact with this man.
Im not paranoid but many of these diseases are airborne

i don't want to keep responding to this issue but people may find 'jew' insulting but the few of you who are talking about the woman who wanted to get the dmv picture with her burka on were being insulting too. it isn't a MASK, like a halloween mask or something like that. thanks alina and the other post for at least calling it a veil.
also- about the comment about not being able to wear hats/sunglasses- that's true- but i think burkas are a bit different than baseball caps. i'm not saying dmv should have allowed her to take the picture w/ it on bc that defeats the whole purpose of taking the picture as a way of identifying the individual.
