I'm sorry I have to vent...

What is up with people's driving today??? I live 2 miles from work and just on the way home alone I saw 2 different cars at two different intersections run red lights...very red lights...with traffic in the other direction moving for a significant amount of time. Then on my way home from school this idiot on the Northern State Pkwy was weaving in and out of the lanes, driving at like 45 miles per hour! I usually lag behind people who do this at a great distance, but tonight I just gunned it (stupid on my part, I know). Drunk at 8pm on a Tuesday? What is up with people's death wishes today? The crazy part is that for the past 2 weeks or so, I am not sure if I am the only one noticing this, but I have remarked how crazy everyone seems to be driving! I am not sure if it's because of the holidays or what, but what the heck???

Anyway, I know you all don't want to just listen to me vent, so please just take this as a warning. PLEASE BE CAREFUL and don't do stupid things like these people did today. It's not worth blowing a red light and getting into an accident to shave a minute off of how late one is coming back from lunch...you will be later! ...stepping off soap box

My Fh and I were driving east on the Southern state and we were right at that part where it divides to go to sunken meadow. We were staying to the right, but this guy completely cut us off, so FH decided to follow him and take SUNKEN MEADOW when we were supposed continue on the Souther State. I was like 'what are you going to do?'. Men are so stupid sometimes. We went all the way out of our way for nothing.
